Introduction

Tuscany is a PVC Foamwood slat system designed for use in the manufacture of wood look-alike blinds having either 50mm or 63mm slat width. The unique combination of polymer co-extrusion and high temperature formulation ensure Tuscany performs reliably over a wider range of temperatures and other conditions than previous generations of PVC slat systems. Tuscany is very suitable for use in all areas of the home or office, including wet areas.

Features

Tuscany range has several features that provide competitive advantage over other PVC based systems sold by competitors in Australia. Tuscany incorporates leading edge technologies that raise the temperature rating of the product from conventional levels of 40-45°C, up to a level of 55°C. The specific technologies used include polymer co-extrusion and special high temperature chemical formulation. Co-extrusion incorporates a lighter colour core that is less heat absorbing, combined with an outer PVC skin that carries the slat colouring. 82mm wide valance allows complete coverage of standard high profile 57x51mm head rail, creating a more finished appearance after installation.

Measurements

200mm is the smallest width possible. Blinds under 300mm can only be made with tilt only. Standard return size is 75mm. Any returns 30mm or under cannot be manufactured with return clips. All sizes provided must be provided as finished sizes. It is recommended that when providing measurements, for recess, deduct 10mm from both the width and drop. For face fix, deduct 10mm only from the drop.

Limitations & Warranty

While Tuscany is a high-quality product, like any plastic slat product, it can have some limitations in extreme conditions. Tuscany is rated at 55°C and temperatures in excess of this may cause permanent damage to the product. Tuscany is provided with a 1-year warranty.

Measurements

3000mm is the maximum width. Recommended maximum ladder spacing is 450mm and maximum end route distance is 150mm. All sizes provided must be provided as finished sizes. It is recommended that when providing measurements, for recess, deduct 10mm from both the width and drop. For face fix, deduct 10mm only from the drop.

Limitations & Warranty

While Paris Nouveau is a high-quality product, it can have some limitations in extreme conditions. Consideration should be taken for west facing windows that receive full sun with extreme temperatures. Paris Nouveau is rated at 75C, and temperatures more than this may cause permanent damage to the product. Paris Nouveau is provided with a 1 year warranty.
